112 मुफ़्त मिलाया जा सकता है, लैंडलाइन या मोबाइल फ़ोन से, यूरोपीय संघ में आप जहाँ भी हों, और वह आपको सीधे पुलिस, एम्बुलेंस या दमकल से जोड़ देता है। यह अकेला नंबर है जो संघ के हर देश में चलता है।
