No. This site gives general information about the European baseline, in the form of teaching cases. It does not examine your file, and it knows neither your contract, nor your country, nor the exact facts of your case.

For a real case, the right doors are the competent national body, the European Consumer Centre in your country, a consumer association, or a legal professional. They are named and linked at the end of every situation.

Because a sentence that is true in Spain can be false in Estonia, and this site is read from all 27 countries. So we teach only the common baseline: Regulations, which apply identically, and the minimum guaranteed by Directives.

Your country may well do better. That is good news, and it is not ours to tell: we could only do it properly for one country at a time. The page on the principle explains the mechanics in detail.

Every page that states a right carries a dated stamp: “Law as verified on …”. It is a validity date, not a decoration: it says that every quoted text, every amount and every redress link was re-read against the official source on that date.

The site's corpus is fully reviewed every six months, because regulations get amended and official pages move. The stamp is only re-inked after a real re-verification, never out of habit.

Between two reviews, the official text always prevails: every citation links to EUR-Lex or Your Europe, and the version in force when you read is what counts.

Only the PLAYED version needs JavaScript; a situation's page keeps its opening scene, and each item of the file has a page of its own, linked from there: the written walkthrough, the sheet to print and the official redress steps read as they are.

Yes, including commercially, on the single condition that you credit the author. The content is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, and the data is published as JSON so it can be reused directly.

Because one complete, sourced, checked situation is more useful than a catalogue of promises. The board announces the 24 planned situations and shows clearly which ones exist: 24 today.

The others arrive in waves, and each one passes the same source check. A situation with a right that has no official extract cannot be built: the validation tool refuses.
